MultiMill solid carbide endmill for roughing and finishing October 2008

The MultiMill four flute high helix solid carbide endmill delivers remarkable metal removal rates for roughing as well as surface finishes beyond most finishing tools on the market, says TaeguTec. It also eliminates tool changeover and also reduces the number of tools required in the machine set-up.

With a 45º degree corner chamfer and a TiAlN coating, the versatile MultiMill is suitable for all types of steel and stainless steels, titanium, Inconel and other high temperature alloys. With an ability to rough and finish machine such difficult materials, the MultiMill is suitable for the aerospace, motorsport and mould and die work.

The MultiMill’s exceptional chip evacuation and metal removal are provided by a flute design that also reduces vibration even at high loads.
