ATI Stellram hails Farnborough success 23/09/2008

ATI Stellram reports a record number of enquiries for its cutting tools from top aerospace component makers at the Farnborough International Air Show.

It also secured a substantial number of product trials with manufacturers in France, Germany, Italy and the UK as well as in Belgium and Eastern Europe.

Stellram’s high feed 7792VX milling cutter, RAPIDE solid carbide end mills and new 4E turning geometry, which are specially designed for machining titanium-based alloys, drew the highest levels of interest from show visitors.

“Farnborough proved to be a fantastic opportunity for ATI Stellram to showcase its latest high performance tools for difficult-to-machine materials not only to existing customers, but also to new ones, particularly in emerging markets in Eastern Europe,” commented Claudio Pizzo, ATI Stellram’s European sales director.

“The record number of sales leads and product trials demonstrates that more aero component makers are seeking the ATI Stellram experience on how to effectively machine the new generation of complex materials.”
