BS EN 9100:2003 accreditation for FUCHS Lubricants 10/09/2008

FUCHS Lubricants (UK) PLC has achieved BS EN 9100:2003 accreditation – the first company within the FUCHS Group to do so.

The BSI standard is used by the aerospace and aviation industries to review a supplier’s quality management systems and has been designed to enhance customer satisfaction.

BS EN 9100:2003 ensures that an organisation consistently produces, and continually improves, safe, reliable products that meet or exceed customer and regulatory authority requirements.

Aerospace industry suppliers face the challenge of delivering products to multiple customers, who have varying quality expectations and requirements. This document standardises the quality management system requirements for the industry throughout the world, helping to improve quality and safety while lowering costs.
