ESAB Cutting Systems’ Suprarex modular gantry cutting machine can now be equipped for many cutting process combinations including combined plasma/oxy-fuel cutting, plasma/weld preparation, oxy-fuel/weld preparation, grid cutting, marking and labelling. It can also be specified with track widths from 3,000 to 8,500 mm to suit different plate sizes and offers the ability to be used as a stand-alone cutting machine or as part of an integrated, automated production process.
A diverse range of system modules can be combined to suit specific user requirements. These include alternative cutting tables, power supplies, fume extraction and environmental systems as well as consumables.
For integrated, automated production, the ESAB’s Vision 55 NC control system and Columbus programming software will help to dispense with manual tasks and ensure repeatable, consistent results. For automatic plasma bevel cutting, a further option is the VBA-Expert PRO automatic rotating bevel tool.
