Updated CoroKey tooling guidance booklet available 02/09/2008

An updated version Sandvik Coromant’s CoroKey guide is available.

CoroKey can help users quickly find the right tool and correct cutting data for their application.

An A5 size booklet, CoroKey provides a useful guide to the ‘first choice’ tools and tooling for the most common operations. The handbook begins with a clearly laid out and colour-coded contents page and ends with an index to all the part numbers included.

The main sections are on turning, milling and drilling; each starts with an explanation of how to use the booklet, how to choose an insert, grade and tool; and also contains general guidelines on its contents.

Further sections provide guidance on modular tooling; practical tips including safety, tool maintenance and wear and troubleshooting; and an explanation of Sandvik Coromant’s basic grades.

The guide can be downloaded from the Sandvik Coromant website (see link below) in all European languages, or can be ordered through local sales offices using code C-2903:11.
