Delcam has announced record half-year sales in the six months to 30 June, 2008.
Sales for the period grew to £16.9 million, an increase of 17 per cent over the £14.5 million recorded in the first half of 2007. Pre-tax profit rose by 13 per cent to £1.42 million compared with the £1.26 million in the same period last year.
The company continued to increase its high levels of investment in software R&D, investing £4.5 million in the period, a 10 per cent increase over the first half of last year. As well as supporting growth in new software sales, this investment contributed to an increase in maintenance revenues to £5.1 million.
