Systems solutions push by Jemtech 21/07/2008

Jemtech, a distributor of metalcutting fluids, cutting tools and extraction systems, has completed a strategic re-structure of its business operations.

This has seen a new corporate identity created and the applications team strengthened. In addition, “a whole new raft of sales and marketing resources” will come on-stream over the next few weeks and months".

The re-structuring exercise, completed in June 2008, has seen the creation of a new visual brand identity with the new ‘Inspiring Solutions’ proposition-led corporate strap-line.

Managing director Steve Coull (pictured) says it has “given Jemtech a sharper and clearer business focus (internal and external), helped develop a rationalised and better-balanced product and service portfolio, improved customer service and provided a new impetus to help the company capitalise on new business opportunities in the UK/Ireland’s high-growth, advanced technology manufacturing sectors”.

Jemtech is the exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland of a number of products, including: Blaser Swisslube metalcutting fluids; Silmax cutting tools; CleanMist extraction units and systems; and other products such as Fe-Ol belt skimmers.

The company achieved double-digit growth in 2007, achieving its best sales results to date, but, adds Mr Coull: “The emphasis this year, and in the future, is to drive sales, increase market share and achieve additional growth by repositioning the company as a systems solutions provider…as opposed to a supplier of, what are often perceived as being, commodity products.”
