PCD milling cutters for high speed machining of aluminium alloys and composites July 2008

Available in diameters of 32 to 63 mm, the F4726 porcupine cutter is aimed at shoulder milling and slotting as well as general roughing tasks. A 10 deg positive spiral angle makes the tool suitable for applications on smaller and less stable machines.

The F4722 shoulder milling cutter is available in diameters from 6 to 40 mm, and the new F4723 face mill is supplied in diameters from 50 to 125 mm.

All have brazed PCD inserts with precision ground PCD cutting edges, and the cutting edge geometries and tool bodies make the new tools suitable for both roughing and finishing tasks.
