Analogue Rockwell hardness bench tester July 2008

Analogue Rockwell hardness bench tester

The advanced, CV-600A analogue Rockwell hardness bench tester is claimed by Bowers Metrology to be the highest quality Rockwell tester, within its price bracket, currently available.

The large working envelope can accommodate even the largest of test specimens, says the company, and the unit is extremely robust designed to provide the user with accurate and repeatable hardness readings (conforming to EN-ISO 6508 and ASTM-E18) even within the harshest of working environments.

With optional manual or motorised models available, the cost effective CV-600A’s many standard features include, an easy to read analogue display of HRC, B, A and F, alternative test loads of 60, 100, 150 kgf, dwell time options from 0-30 sec and a comprehensive range of standard test anvils, indenters and test blocks, with further non-standard test anvils, indenters and test blocks available upon request.
