Yorkshire Machine Tools acquired by Jones & Shipman owners 30/06/2008
 
Owner of Jones & Shipman and Holroyd, Precision Technologies Group, has purchased certain assets of Yorkshire Machine Tools, Huddersfield.

PTG reports that the business is a going concern and that it will focus on: refurbishment and service of roll grinders, including Churchill and Farrel; sale of new and refurbishment of Binns and Bery lathes; sales of new and refurbishment of Crawford Swift lathes.

The Yorky grinder is not among the assets acquired.

PTG intends to use the Binns & Berry and Crawford Swift trade names to help the Group expand its product range.
