Mini Mill 2 has extended travels June 2008

Following in the footsteps of the Haas CNC Mini Mill launched in 2000, the Mini Mill 2, with all the features of the original, also has extended xyz travels of 508 by 406 by 356 mm – roughly a 100 mm increase on each axis.

Mini Mill 2 features a standard 40-taper, 6,000 rpm spindle and is powered by a 7.5-hp vector drive system. The 1,016 by 356 mm T-slot table provides plenty of room for multiple fixtures or a single- or dual-axis rotary table. Rapids are 15.2 m/min, with 12.7 m/min cutting feeds.

A new Super Mini Mill 2 will also be available later this year. It will have the same travels as the MM2, but offers higher speeds and feeds, and more available options.
