VTX is new IPOT show 26/06/2008

VTX is the new Vision Technology Exhibition to supersede the IPOT image processing and optical technology exhibition as a strategic element of Advanced Manufacturing UK, 25-26 March 2009, NEC, Birmingham.

Designed to enable industry and system integrators to evaluate the capabilities and advantages of vision technology and systems, VTX will focus on providing a showcase of vision technology to potential new users, as well as becoming the annual one-stop meeting place for major manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of vision technologies and users.

On show at the NEC next March will be, for example, vision systems, software, cameras and components, lasers, image processing systems, identification/inspection technology and photonics, and optical technologies.

In addition, a major education programme dedicated to vision technology is also planned for VTX 2009.

The focus on the VTX showfloor and in the education programme will be how these technologies can effectively become integral with manufacturing processes and, in turn, generate invaluable bottom-line benefits.
