Flow picks up 787 supplier award 25/06/2008

US headquartered waterjet specialist Flow International Corporation has been awarded Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ (MHI) prestigious B787 Excellent Suppliers Award; the first time an American company has been presented this award.

Citing its successful delivery of the first wing box for the new Boeing 787, which was produced using Flow’s waterjet technology, MHI lauds Flow’s innovative composite waterjet capabilities and commitment to serving the dynamic needs of the aerospace industry as basis for the award.

"We are honoured to receive this award from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries," said Dick LeBlanc, executive vice president, Flow International. "The reputation Flow holds in the aerospace industry is strong and now even further supported by an award such as this."
