The INOX Cut Off Wheel complements 3M’s extensive abrasives range. Suitable for cutting all metals, including stainless steel, the INOX finish formulation is iron free and aluminium oxide based, therefore able to cut through most commonly used materials, while reducing the possibility of cross contamination than can lead to corrosion problems. Two new sizes – 115 and 125mm diameters – are available in 1 and 1.6mm thicknesses for high productivity and cut quality.
Resin bonding provides good mineral anchorage making the product fully compliant with EN12413, the safety standard for bonded abrasive products. As such, the INOX wheel also exhibits high resistance to breaking and side loads.
