Enhanced labelling capability for multi-axis machining software May 2008

NCCS has added new capabilities to its NCL multi-axis machining software by enhancing the labelling of geometry names and subscripts.

Now, all NCL variable names can now have up to 64 characters, including geometry names, scalars, macros and labels. The maximum subscript value has been increased from 32,767 to 1,000,000 and the input line length has been increased from 80 to 1,024.

Expanding the variable capabilities allows users to be more detailed in labelling their variables, thereby improving the overall part program making it more efficient. The software has also been improved to support the more widely used programming method.
