Miyano UK rebrand and machine sale at MACH 02/05/2008

MACH 2008 was the platform that Macro CNC used to launch itself as Miyano UK, and sold a Miyano ABX64-TH3 turning centre on day two of the event to Reliance Precision, Cork.

The sale of the 10-axis ABX64-TH3 to the Irish manufacturer of gears, couplings and leadscrews was instigated by the Miyano UK agent in Ireland, Premier Machine Tools.

The Reliance acquisition includes a swarf conveyor and barfeed plus additional peripheral equipment that has given the Irish company a true ‘turnkey package’.

Suitable for machining components up to 64 mm diameter, the new ABX-64TH3 three-turret machine has been equipped to drive down set-up times, increase unmanned running and improve ease of use. To accommodate these elements demanded by customers, the ABX-64TH3 incorporates a manual guide programming system designed to assist the programming of complex components and enhanced control features with in built load monitoring.
