Dalian offers ICAM post-processors to home audience

Dalian Machine Tool Group (DMTG), China’s largest machine tool builder, is to offer proven NC post-processors with its 5-axes machines in China.
The move follows an extension of its agreement with US headquartered post-processor specialist ICAM which will see Dalain become a dealer for the local market.
“We plan to differentiate our company by providing proven NC post-processors with our 5-axes machines as well as NC manufacturing support services to our customers.” said Baoqing Zhou, chief engineer at Dalian. “ICAM has been the leading supplier of advanced NC manufacturing software products primarily to the aerospace and defense industries and we are confident that our customers will now benefit from an integrated NC post-processing and machine tool simulation solutions allowing them to capitalise on their Dalian machine tool investments.”
