Modular welding tables offer flexibility for tailored solutions April 2008

The modular S4 System of welding tables can be used for workshop applications that include measuring, monitoring, multi-clamping assemblies, fixture construction, bending and folding.

The mechanical design encompasses a universal ball bolt enabling components to be fixed reliably in seconds, thus reducing set-up and changeover times. Comparative tests with conventional worktables and screw clamps showed a potential saving of up to 40 per cent, says Surface Technology Products.

With more than 100 additional tools, the S4 system is the ideal partner for producing individual welded parts and prototypes for both single and series productions, either for manual and/or robotic applications.

For hole spacing and alternate operations that demand a level of accuracy the S4 can hold a working tolerance of 0.03mm. Constructed from high quality steel, the S4 guarantees a high degree of dimensional precision while demonstrating a robust nature that delivers a long product life.
