Horizontal digital instruments measure symmetrical cylindrical parts April 2008

Trimos Twinner horizontal digital measuring instruments are designed for the accurate measurement of both symmetrical shaped cylindrical parts and components such as camshafts. Ideal for shopfloor use, the new multi-functional, flexible Twinners employ a quick-change component system and are capable of measuring the majority of turned parts.

Removing errors that can occur through operator influence, excellent length and diameter accuracy and repeatability are assured by the Twinners' constant measuring force, and the use of Trimos patented electronics. A simple keyboard and clear digital display give easy access to X and Y axis readings. Alternatively the unit can be linked to a PC running the intuitive Twinner software.

The Twinner is available in 400, 800, 1,200, 2,000 mm lengths with diameter capability of 125 or 160 mm.
