Advanced functionality for 4- and 5-axis toolpath generation April 2008

NCCS has enhanced its NCL multi-axis machining software, empowering users with more advanced functionality and bringing greater efficiency to their part programs.

OpenGL is now supported on all NCL platforms, giving users more advanced options including the ability to:
- accomplish all the graphics work in the back buffer, thereby eliminating flashing problems, and
- delete an entity from the screen which redraws the area behind the deleted entity rather than drawing the entity in the background color, resulting in a much cleaner display.

A standard methodology is now used for cutter animation resulting in the removal of the various animation settings and eliminating problems encountered on various graphics cards.
