Young laser cutting specialist invests £800,000 11/02/2008

Accurate Laser Cutting has placed an order with Bystronic UK for equipment valued at in excess of £800,000.

The order is for two machines, a Bystronic Byspeed (pictured) equipped with 4.4 kW resonator and a Bystronic Bystar 6kW laser.

Oldbury-based Accurate Laser Cutting is a young company set up just under three years ago by Jon Till and business partner Steve Morgan who saw an opportunity to establish a laser sub-contract company which focussed on providing the very best in customer service.

With a single Bystronic Bystar 3015 equipped with 4.4 kW, Accurate Laser Cutting has grown from a turnover of £250,000 in year one to a company boasting an annual turnover of £680,000 by the end of year two. The company anticipates its turnover will be in the region of £1.6 million by the end of this current financial year.

The larger Bystar is capable of cutting up to 25 mm mild and stainless steel and the high speed Byspeed is to be set to wrk cutting thinner gauge material.
