You-JI VTLs turn, mill and grind January 2008
 
The latest You-Ji VTL range will carry out milling, turning and grinding on non-symmetrical parts weighing up to 15 tonnes.

It offers a turning diameter up to 2.8 m and a turning height of up to 1.6 m turning. The machines are able to carry hydraulic chucks with up to six jaws and 90º approach drilling heads can be specified, while a grinding spindle option and automatic pallet and tool changer are also offered. There are further options of through-tool coolant supply and a 25 kW live spindle.

A BT50 tool disc magazine is standard with 16 positions and is able to accept tools weighing up to 50 kg. There are four further options of magazines with capacities of 24, 32, 48 and 60 tools. Tool pre-setting and workpiece probing are available.
Control is via Fanuc 18i-T or Siemens 840D and linear scales are available for higher accuracy positioning as an option.

Model designations are 1000, 1200, 1600, 2000 and 2500.
