Master Chemical builds second China plant 22/01/2008

In just four years, Master Chemical (Shanghai) Co has outgrown its existing manufacturing facility and a second plant is under construction.

“Demand for our TRIM metalworking fluids and XYBEX recycling systems has been nothing short of explosive,” explained chief executive officer Joe Wright. “And there is no doubt that this part of Asia is a sustainable market for us.”

The new plant is to be in China's production heartland of the north, Tianjin, to ensure the shortest time to market. When completed the site will allow the Master Chemical technical centre in Shanghai to re-focus its operation. Greater emphasis will be on sales, service and support and the development of these functions in line with market growth.
