Master Chemical’s new TRIM OG215 can increase the productivity of grinding machines working on titanium and stainless steels.
The potential to increase manufacturing volume of parts made from these materials can often be compromised by the inability of the neat metalworking oil to do its job at greater feed rates. TRIM OG215 has proven its ability to increase productivity by as much as 66 per cent and still maintain the quality finish required.
Based on a highly refined Group III base oil, TRIM OG215 contains no chlorinated or active sulphur EP additives which ensures its acceptability for all aerospace manufacturing operations. Despite this lack of traditional EP additives, its ester technology gives comparable performance to current high EP oils.
The hydro-cracked base oil in TRIM OG215 ensures the product has extremely low volatility and hence, extremely low levels of mist, even at high pressures. Its low viscosity also means it easily passes through a 10 micron filter.
