LongLife slitting tool system for Trumpf type punch presses November 2007

Fully OEM compatible, Mate LongLife combines premium tool steel punch and die inserts with robust punch and die holders for a cost effective slitting tool solution.

The punch inserts are manufactured from premium high speed steel to provide the maximum interval between regrinds. They are available in two standard sizes: 5 by 56 mm and 5 by 76.2 mm.

Two insert punch holders are available. One includes an integral alignment ring for fast and precise tool set-up and the other requires a heavy duty alignment ring to allow manual angle setting flexibility. The punch holders work with conventional machine strippers.

Die inserts suit up to 3 mm mild steel and are available in two standard sizes, 5 by 56 mm and 5 by 76.2 mm with 0.10 mm die clearance increments from +0.10 to +0.60 mm. The appropriate die insert holders include precise angular orientation at 0 and 90° for maximum flexibility.
