Larger forms possible for Trumpf-style tooling October 2007

Wilson Tool has extended the maximum size of forms possible in Trumpf-style tooling with their new A-Plus SeriesTM of forming tools.

This new range of special tools extends the current boundaries of form size by 25 mm or more, allowing Trumpf and Pullmax machine users to produce louvers, lance & forms and card guides which were previously impossible on their machines.

The A-Plus SeriesTM Louver tool has extended the possible size from 76 mm to 101.6 mm, and is designed with built-in stripping in the lower unit for trouble free sheet travel and simple programming.

The A-Plus SeriesTM Lance & Form tool has extended the possible size from 63 mm to 88.9 mm, and can be used in many applications such as for air flow, decoration, location markers, sheer tabs, wire harnesses and clip attachments.

The A-Plus SeriesTM Card Guide tool has extended the possible size from 71 mm to 96.5 mm, and provides vast savings when compared to expensive secondary operations such as plastic inserts.

A-Plus SeriesTM tools are available for most Trumpf Group I machines and Pullmax machines. A modified cartridge (also available from Wilson Tool) is required with this range of tools.
