Aston Martin chooses ITP 24/07/2007

Rugby-based manufacturer ITP Group has received a flurry of orders from the automotive industry totalling over £1.5 million, all signed within a two-month period.

The company, which employs almost 50 staff at its Butlers Leap site, has received orders including specialist inspection and milling machines to equip a styling studio for prestige car manufacturer Aston Martin, Gaydon, Warks.

“We were competing with several companies, all of which were based overseas," said Dick Turpin, ITP managing director (pictured). "Aston Martin is still viewed as something of a British institution and it is very fitting that they chose a British manufacturer for such a major contract.”
